Logo Investigating...

Bambi have used contemporary cursive writing while emphasizing the 'B'. Being cursive however it makes it rather difficult to read. The full stop at the end also adds simplicity and emphasizes the name. I would like to use a full stop in my design.

The Bikini Fox incorporated their name into their logo exceptionally well while keeping it simple and easy on the eye. The black and white contrasts well together and the way the text works in and alters with the background shows great structure. The texture of the tail is paintbrush like and shows creativity in the creation of the logo.

Bikini Bird have used a bold font handwriting while possibly using a 'type on path function' to make the text curve, creating a symmetrical concave effect. I like how simple this is without being too plain and boring.

Frankie have used a standard font all in caps with the outline of the circle. To me this logo is very plain and boring with not very much structure. However I do like the circle as it makes it symmetrical and more of a logo.

Seafolly have used caps for their name but then lowercase for 'australia' underneath which looks really effective. This logo is still very plain but has a sense of sophistication as it is easy to read and relatively bold.

Sahara Ray Swim's logo seems very classy to me. The font in caps looks very professional indicating to me that their swimwear would be of good quality and very upmarket. The inclusion of the line between the two words create a sence of balanced.

This logo does not relate to the swimwear there however, I do believe this logo has very good structure and shows depth in technique and skill. I enjoy the wood texture as well as the effects of the text. This logo is balanced well.

Urvin have a very unique logo design that seems very appealing to me. Its looks as if it has been drawn free hand because of its unsymmetrical shaped letters and lines. I admire how at the beginning and end of each line, it has a sharp edge. This logo is simple as its only the name + three lines but at the same time it is really affective.

This logo belongs to Stonefox Swim. Stonefox also have a logo incorperating their name but this is the symbol they use on tags, social media, etc. This concept works well, as its a great symbol for the public to remember as it is unique. The black and white contrast well for this logo, creating a bold design.

Palm's logo is very simple yet affective. I do find it a little boring and plain however I do like the font as it has a sense of class. Overall this logo is still to plain for me.

As I would like to incorporate an   anchor in my logo, these were some different designers of anchors I found. I really enjoy the top middle anchor as well as the bottom left. The top middle looks very structured as well as being elegant. The bottom left however looks as like it were a stick figure because the lines are all one size.

This logo belongs to Tom Hope Bracelets. I love the navy as well as the two initials ('T' 'H') instead of the having entire name (Tom Hope) although for looking at their logo no one really will understand where it belongs and what 'T H' stands for.

I found this chart very interesting as it goes through the psychology behind colours which can effect the way people look at your logo. For my logo I want it to have a relaxing and fresh feel to it as well as being classy and trustworthy so that customers will not be worried about the safety of the site. I also what to seem friendly to the customer as well as being welcoming.

From looking at white I gathered that it was a colour of peace and purity. I believe that white has aspects that would suit my logo as it stands for

- Innocence

- Peace

- Purity

- Simplicity

- Truthfulness

From looking at blue I gathered that it was a calming colour. I believe that blue also has aspects that would suit my logo as it stands for

- Calm

- Confidence

- Loyalty

- Success

- Secure

- Trustworthy

From looking at black I gathered that it was a colour of popularity and power. I believe that black has some aspects that might suit my logo as it stands for

- Bold

- Formality

From looking at these colours I believe that white, blue and maybe black would suit my logo best.
